A downloadable soundtrack

DJ Tent Mode's hot new track "Human Laws" is a submission for the Game Boy Music Winter Jam 2023. Thanks to the GameBoy's stereo capabilities, you can now listen to DJ Tent Mode in both ears!

The track started as a single rhythm I had stuck in my head and grew from there. The long held note into the final drum solo began as a happy accident when I didn't correctly terminate a note and it bled into the next pattern.

The piece was composed and sequenced in DefleMask, and the mp3 was encoded with Audacity. The .gb ROM was also exported by DefleMask and should run on stock hardware as well as in various emulators.

The .webm file (also exported from DefleMask) is a video visualization with scope traces for each of the channels and the tracker notes. Download it and drag it into your web browser to play it.
